What is Yoga Therapy?

The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) defines Yoga Therapy as ... "the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga."

So What is yoga therapy really?

Yoga Therapy is an individualized approach to creating the life that you desire. You may choose to improve your overall wellness, or target specific goals related to mental health, disease, past surgery, and handling transitions such as death, a breakup, new job.

What does a yoga therapy session look like?

Our first session will be a deep dive into your history. At the end of the session, we will have established your goals for our work together. These goals may be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual.
